Dr. Gerald Hoch, DDS

Dr. Gerald Hoch was born and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey. He earned his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University and went on to attend New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Hoch graduated top of his class and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.  After receiving his DDS, Dr. Hoch served in the Vietnam War before returning to specialize in orthodontics back at New York University.

In 2007, Dr. Gerald Hoch started teaching in the Orthodontic Department at New York University. He continues to teach residents in their program on Fridays and plays an active roll in preparing the residents for the board certification exams.

Dr. Hoch has been named a Top Orthodontist in New Jersey Monthly's Survey of Top Dentists in New Jersey every year since 2009. 

​

He and his wife, Joyce, live in Holmdel, NJ and have three children: Allison, Andrew, and Amy.  They have lived in Holmdel for the past 39 years.  Dr. Hoch and his wife enjoy traveling, playing golf, and spending time with their three children and their spouses and 7 grandchildren.
